Patriot Park Veterans Memorial Northern Michigan

Our new Patriot Park Veterans Memorial is located at 5394 M-72 W, nestled on 80 acres of rolling landscape with breathtaking views of the Old Mission Peninsula, Lake Skegemog, and Torch Lake, including a stunning perspective of the entire sandbar. The park’s design will feature:

• A scenic overlook area.
• An Honorary Plaza with a military theme that honors our veterans.
• A community center with event spaces, a full kitchen, and a balcony with sweeping views.
• Multiple gazebos along the park’s trail system, providing peaceful resting spots for visitors.

We are also developing exciting amenities such as a Disc Golf Course and a Mountain Bike Course, with a Disc Golf Tournament scheduled for Memorial Weekend 2025. The unique topography of the park will make it a premier destination in Northern Michigan, and we are planning to connect our trails to other regional trail systems.

To make this vision a reality, we have established a dedicated partnership with Clearwater Township Parks & Recreation, ensuring that all funds raised go directly to the development of the park. Since the park is owned by Clearwater Township, all donations are tax-deductible. We will provide the necessary documentation to assist with your IRS filing.
